A Small Polemic Game

"A Game About Sitting On Chairs" is a short, lofi walking-sim I made in Oct. 2024 while thinking about "hostile design", assumed players and the assumed tyrannical game designer. I was also testing how much a player could pick up an idea communicated through mechanics alone. In this regard, this project laid a lot of ground work for the games I worked on next (in particular, "The Invisible Casino")
In Aug/Sept. 2026 I returned to touch up a few bits and add some audio. It's still a bit rough, but I've pretty much had my fill of working in Unity so it will have to do.
Controls
- Mouse: Look
- WASD: Move
- F: Interact
- R (hold): Reset

heads up, the mac version seems to have an issue where when you sit down the perspective isn't right. it has you looking at the chair instead of sitting in it.
Thanks for the report! Didn’t come up in testing, but that’s quite an issue for the game… Can I ask if it’s an Intel or Apple Silicone machine you’re playing on?
